Join Aina, Berta and Jo with your families on Sunday 17th December, 16h - 18:30h to honour the magic within the season of winter, find light within the dark long nights and celebrate nature in the magical forest of the Laberinto de Piedras de Cabrils.
We’re looking forward to bringing families together to a magical place in the forest behind Cabrils, El Laberinto de Piedras, to celebrate and remember that even though we are in the longest, darkest nights of the year, there is still so much light to be found, and especially within our children. Their little lights shine so bright ✨💛
We will be:
✨Gathering in circle and then moving, dancing and playing to music
✨Using the nature around us and recycled materials to create Winter Solstice Nature Lanterns
✨Once the sun has set, we will be walking the Laberinto de Piedras in a Lantern Parade
✨Writing wishes for the world and creating a wishing tree
✨Warming ourselves with hot chocolate, mulled wine (vino caliente) and snacks for the kids
This event will be Trilingual - English, Spanish/ Catalan- and is open to all, including families with kids from 3-12 years or adults who just enjoy this type of thing! Babies and little ones of course welcome too but just note the activities will not be aimed at them.
If you would like to join we ask you to reserve you and your family’s places by completing the Google form here and then sending a Bizum for the correct amount to Aina on +34 646 208 110. You place will only be reserved once you have made the payment.
Cost: EARLYBIRD PRICE!! €5 per child, €10 per adult until Saturday 9th December (one week before event)
This is to encourage people to book early so that we can buy all the necessary materials in advance

Please note that you need a car to drive to the location in the forest, it’s quite a fun drive along sandy forest fire roads (not tarmac) to find it. We will be sending a message with the exact location nearer the event. There is plenty of parking on the side of the fire road near the entrance to the Laberinto area. Google Maps Location here.
The sun will be setting at 17:30h so we need to start the circle promptly at 16h to make the most of the daylight, so feel free to arrive at anytime from 15:30h onwards.
Our aim is to finish the event in the dark with the Lantern Parade but we recommend you bring any torches/ headlights/ battery lanterns you may have to help navigate the forest in the dark on your way back to your car.
